Bug Description
Binary package hint: computer-janitor
Just a feature suggestion - please can someone mark as wishlist
Computer Janitor should suggest to remove old backup files created by nano, gedit, etc. These files are identified by the trailing "~". These are usually not needed. To be safe it would make sense to only remove those older than 30 days. I think we can be sure that if it has not been modified in the last 30 days the user is happy with the change they made to that file and no longer needs the automatic backup (that most people are unaware even happens).
