Can we please re-open this bug? There is no released fix that ever worked for me. I'm on 14.04 development, fresh install and I still experience this bug following the original steps to reproduce:

- minimize window
- show scale (super+w)
- hide scale (super+w)
- click on window in launcher

-> black empty window.
