Bug Description
Binary package hint: compiz
I've got Ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 6 and have installed all previous updates on a daily basis. I just got done installing today's update and it said I had to restart for the changes to take effect (with the blue circular arrow symbol in the upper right). So I rebooted and upon a reboot before getting into GNOME, it said there was a problem with my graphics drivers and I needed to reconfigure. So I hit reconfigure and selected "generic" and rebooted and it was fine. I've got an Nvidia 9000 series graphics card and I probably had the custom drivers installed before.
Oh well. Hope that helps. Keep up the great work! I'm new to Linux and am loving it more every day ;-)

Oh yeah, this also happened on my other computer too that has an older Nvidia graphics card. Same exact situation.
