Ubuntu logs off after I try to switch application which has multiple instances

Bug Description

I started getting this error after Ubuntu update.
Basically, when I try to switch to another instance of opened application I get logged off.

[ 150.590975] compiz[3164]: segfault at 48 ip 00007ff7704d3780 sp 00007ffd5c7756e8 error 4 in libscale.so[7ff7704c1000+25000]
