Bug Description
I get this error message in the '.xsession-errors' file:
"Info: Unity is not supported by your hardware. Enabling software rendering instead (slow)."
However, this hardware supports OpenGL 1.4, which should make it supported.
From lshw:
"description: VGA compatible controller
product: Mobile 945GSE Express Integrated Graphics Controller
vendor: Intel Corporation"
And glxinfo:
"OpenGL vendor string: Intel Open Source Technology Center
OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI Intel(R) 945GME x86/MMX/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 1.4 Mesa 9.0"
This is for Quantal, compiz version 1:0.9.8.
Unity should use Hardware Rendering.
