Bug Description
Binary package hint: casper
Currently, casper calls a casper-reconfigure call to reconfigure xserver-xorg when booting. If discover1 isn't installed, then the package is unable to discover any hardware drivers other than vesa.
The Ubuntu live disks already install discover1, but third party disks or debootstrapped installs need to manually install discover1 if the package is to be able to use all available video drivers.
