Bug Description
Calibre 3.23 completely blocks the PC completely randomly; I do not know if it's my problem but I noticed that all the other software installed work perfectly; it seems to crash when i load multiple books at the same time or perform multiple operations.Thank you

I'm having issues with Calibre crashing gnome on 18.04. When I try to open either Calibre or Ebook Reader, the window opens up to be huge and I can't resize it. Then Gnome crashes or hangs.
