Sound doesn't work properly and when quitting the game, it locks up

Bug Description

Binary package hint: burgerspace

when running burgerspace from the command line, I get the following output in the terminal:

To quit burgerspace, I have to launch xkill to close the window.

I have been having this problem too. My CPU usage shoots up to 100% and the sound is very poppy.

To work around possible pulseaudio bugs I tried loading it with aoss and padsp but no improvement.
