Bug Description

Affects multiple versions of Ubuntu:

"So to get Bumblebee to work properly with nvidia-370 in Ubuntu 16.04 / Linux Mint 18.x, you'll need to install Bumblebee from THIS PPA."

http://www.webupd8.org/2016/08/how-to-install-and-configure-bumblebee.html

The version of bumblebee provided from official repo of Ubuntu 16.04 or Ubuntu 17.04 is too old for newer nvidia proprietary drivers. The newest testing version (bumblebee 3.2.1-98) must be provided, if nvidia-370 or newer is used. nvidia-375 is officially available in Ubuntu 16.04.

The older bumblebee version (e.g. 3.2.1-10 in Ubuntu 16.04) is not able to properly switch on and off the nvidia-card using the newer driver.
