Bug Description
After installing broadcom-sta-dkms and rebooting, driver fails to load. Reviewing dmesg produces the following output

My experience with this driver or any broadcom wl or wl/bt card is that it is too much trouble to deal with. I pulled both of them I had and replaced them with Intel cards which have great support and 'just work'. Amazon or newegg or wherever has great intel cards that work for about $25.00. It is not too much trouble to rip the broadcom card out. Broadcom does not appear to support Linux WL driver development for whatever reason. I get that you are usually stuck with whatever is in the laptop you buy. That is a sticking point but if you want to timker, great. If you want to use the laptop for work, get a different card. I've worked with broadcom cards for about 5 years (since ubuntu 10.04) and am just done. I had a 5ghz card which would only work at 2.5 and then only sporadically. Disconnects no reconnect, type in correct password and no connect, suspend and no reconnect on resume, etc. I'm unsubscribing from bug and done with BC WL cards.
