When I insert a blanc CD-R (1X-52X) 700Mb, 80 min, Ubuntu reports that there is no space left on the disc???
After installing Ubuntu 10.4 some weeks ago I was able to burn discs with brasero. Today brasero reports that there is no
space left on a blanc disc.
The following messages are present in the log:
Jul 7 20:58:06 Ubuntu-Bernard kernel: [ 357.995881] cdrom: This disc doesn't have any tracks I recognize!

and so on ...
Is it possible that the previous kernel and hardware-patches had not this problem, as last weekend a lot of files were
upgraded (kernel, firmware, ....)
