Calls made through car bluetooth connection always drop out after about 3 minutes. The phone becomes unusable and I have to hold the power button for 15 seconds to reboot it. Car is Skoda Octavia.

Which phone is this?

It would be also quite helpful if you can provide some more verbose debug logs. To do that follow https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingBluetooth and reproduce the problem. Afterwards attach the syslog file here or shared privately with me if you mind pushing it here.

The phone is a BQ Aquaris e4.5

The command to enable verbose logging gives the following error:

sed: can't read /etc/init/b: No such file or directory

Regards

In my case:
Phone: Aquaris 5 ubuntu edition
Car: Lexus IS 250h
I also cannot answer an incoming call (no reaction to the push on the 'Answer' button)

@Jim: It looks like you copied only half of the command from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingBluetooth

Can you repeat the steps?

Some update on this: I can normally answer incoming calls. However, during a call, I can never access activate the handset to press buttons (like '3' to suppress a message).
When battery is low, however, the calls disconnects very rapidly and the phone is locked if I try to reboot it. Only possibility is to fully charge the battery and then to reboot (eventullay reset).
