Bug Description

Binary package hint: blueman

After the Maverick update today, bluetooth stopped working. There are no bluetooth icons, neither the gnome-bluetooth applet nor the blueman applet.

The hardware is the internal bluetooth device in Lenovo Thinkpad T61.

When I toggle the hardware switch, I get this in the syslog:

When I start bluetooth-applet in the console and toogle the hardware switch I can see the applet complaining about an unknown UUID and the graphics for the applet appears for a split second and then is gone.

After uninstalling blueman, everything seems to work well.

See also https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/654667, which is probably another manifestation of the same problem. Please may be have bluetooth back?
