Bug Description

Hi,
When I re-boot my laptop the Bluetooth indicator comes on, even though I had kept it off during shutdown. Kubuntu does not 'remember' that Bluetooth was switched off.

I am using the latest Kubuntu (12.10) with all the updates.

Please could someone guide me on how to solve this problem

Please let me know if you need any clarification or further information.

Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. This bug did not have a package associated with it, which is important for ensuring that it gets looked at by the proper developers. You can learn more about finding the right package at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage . I have classified this bug as a bug in kdebluetooth.

When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more about this functionality at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs.

@Fabio Marconi, Curtis Hovey, Philip Wyett Thanks.

I wonder if this problem is there in Kubuntu 13.04 (KDE 4.10). Would it be worth all the effort if this is already fixed in that version?
