Bug Description

Binary package hint: bash

In a directory with files in it hitting tab (for completion) regularly gives errors if there are characters to the right of the cursor. A good example is the command line "cat " which gives a error when the cursor is between the two space characters, but nowhere else on the line.

The example there appears to have been trashed during processing. The command line string contains "c", "a", "t", " " and " "
