Bug Description
Binary package hint: grub2
when I do a "cat /e<TAB>" I would expect it to complete the /etc/ folder address as it used to, and, just close to its slash, I could start typing a file name (like nt<TAB>) and it should get me "cat /etc/ntp.conf"... but on Natty, when I try this, it gets me "cat /etc nt" - please, notice the SPACE after the /etc ... it prevents the completion to work, therefore, I have to manually go back and type the / close to the etc so that the "nt<TAB>"works as it should and used to... I consider this a regression, and a pretty lame one

Right now I have only two vmlinux images in my /boot: vmlinuz- 2.6.38- 8-generic and vmlinuz- 2.6.38- 8-generic- pae and a Windows; but when I run update-grub2 (a stub for grub-mkconfig) it states show me as it I had twice the generic and pae and once the Windows - I have tested and it reflects on the boot grub menu also. not sure how to get it working correctly besides editing the files my self or via grub-customizer (available in a PPA), but then, update-grub2 simply adds them back when I run it again
