banshee 2.0.0-2ubuntu2

Ubuntu 11.10 (amd64)
banshee 2.2.0-1ubuntu2

Sometimes, when a number of songs is added from library to play queue and playback is started, some songs in play queue are played and then Banshee unreasonably jumps to library and starts playing some songs there (though it seems to play the songs selected to put them into play queue, beginning with the next song to just played).

This can be related to bug #882740.

Can you provide detailed steps for reproducing this bug (as you had done in possibly related bug 882740), and also apport-collect this bug (you should only need to run "apport-collect 882748" once)? Once all this information is added, you can change this bug's status back from Incomplete to New.

The reason of "jumping" is unclear. It sometimes jumps from the current song in the play queue to one of the songs have been selected in the library and put into the play queue, and then it continues to play those selected songs in the library.

I've sent this bug report upstream, but it is highly likely that there isn't enough information to debug this just yet.

Could you attach your Banshee database (~/.config/banshee-1/banshee.db) to this bug, please? If you don't feel comfortable about posting your music database on a public area, then please send it to <email address hidden> and I'll forward it upstream.

The banshee.db should be obtained directly after you reproduce this bug. The log from ~/.config/banshee-1/log may also come in useful, so please upload that as well.
