Bug Description
Binary package hint: banshee
Steps to reproduce:
* create simple recursive link to your music folder (ln -s ~/Music ~/Music/
* start banshee (or Tools -> rescan music collection)
Result : Banshee scans each track about 20 times
Expected : Banshee detects recursive links and scans each track only once
In the real life, this happened to me after having linked two music collections with each other from two different hard drives.

- library scan goes mad because of recursive links + library scan does not handle recursive links properly |
Are you still facing this behaviour with banshee 1.9.6? I tried to reproduce this issue here but banshee crashed for me, by the way, I have linked a ntfs partition where I have all my music (just for the record)
