Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

When windbind is installed both Rhythmbox and Banshee media players crash when scrobbling starts. Removing windbind eliminates this problem (but affects Samba browsing.) Issue confirmed on Ubuntu 10.10 and Linux Mint 10 (Ubuntu 10.10 derivative.) Related forum thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=10576094.

Happy to provide debugging information; please advise.

For me Rhythmbox segfaults immediately on startup when an Audio CD is inserted and winbind is installed. When winbind is removed, everything okay.
