Bug Description
Binary package hint: banshee
Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick
Kernel Linux 2.6.35-24-generic
banshee:
Installed: 1.8.0-2ubuntu1~
Candidate: 1.8.0-2ubuntu1~
Version table:
*** 1.8.0-2ubuntu1~

100 /var/lib/

Normally it should just increment when the song finished playing.
When manually selecting a Song to play, the play count increments at the beginning AND ending of the Song.
So the counter increments twice

I never had this problem, but with an upgrade to 13.04 a similar bug has occurred.
When leeting banshee play through songs, it correctly increments the play count at the end of the track.
However if you manually select a track to play, it instantly increments the play count, and then does so again at the end of the track, so any track you specifically ask to play, ask it's play count incremented by 2 instead of 1
