Bug Description

Binary package hint: banshee

In the browser and track views, there are a couple pixels of padding between the cursor box and the edge of the view. In the source selector, there is none.
The source view should be made to match the track and artists lists.

I'm looking at this, and from a user interface point of view, I actually disagree.
Look at the right-hand side panel; this also goes all the way to the edge.
It would have to be fixed on that side as well, and I'm not sure it would look good.

To see what I mean, set it with Browser on Top, then look at the album browser.
See how it goes all the way to the edge? Now see the scrollbar underneath.
Obviously the scrollbar needs to be at the edge of the window, so would you pad the album browser in by the width of the scrollbar?

Rory Holland, Not really sure what you mean.
But, the two views need to match. Either the source view matches the browser or the browser matches the source view.

The discussion regarding Banshee is still ongoing and a decision has not been
made yet. Please wait a while longer before closing all these bugs.
