Bug Description
Binary package hint: banshee
It would be nice if there was an option to pause playback on the screen saver locking.
I'd expect that there would be some cases where this would not be desirable, but in my case if I'm not in front of the screen I'm not listening to media. My usual experience is:
* sit at desk with headphones on, playing media
* if I need to leave my desk, hit a button to activate the screen lock
* then realise that media is still playing so unlock the screen
* activate the pause feature in the media player
* lock screen again

But it could be a good idea to lock the screen and keep the music coming.. I'll do that sometimes, when I just want to listen to music and leave the computer.
