Bug Description
The applet was working fine before. I did update my OS and it was still working fine, with that said I can't recall the exact moment the applet crash all i could recall was browsing the web and notice the message after a while. I thought was gonna be fixed on reboot but that wasn't so. I'll have to use alsamixer now on to lower and raise my volume control in ubuntu.

I expected the AWN to start without any issues and when I select the volume control the GUI fader to pop-up allow me to lower and raise the volume. Instead the program crashes on start up of AWN.
