The package runs it's full test suite with every Python/Python3 version during build. Also it's developed upstream on Ubuntu, so I'm confident that it works with Ubuntu's Python/Python3. The functional changes in this release (excluding tests and documentation) are in a new file that adds a the new class and modifying two existing lines that list the available types. The risk of regression is very low. The package is already in Debian, so this will be a sync.
Looks backwards- compatible and perfectly-safe.
FFe granted.
