Bug Description
I record every rehearsal from my band and eversince I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 when I open up the project there is an error reported which says that the recording is incomplete and lot's of files are missing. During recording and playing back there is no problem at all.
Details:
O.S.: Ubuntu 11.10
Version of audacity: 1.3.13-beta
Notebook: Dell Latitude 520
Harddrive: 30 Gb
RAM: 2 GB
Microphone: Samson C03U USB Mulit-Pattern Condensor.
Can anybody tell me what I need to do to fix this?
I have already reverted to ubuntu 11.04 because the overal performance of my notebook is much better in this version and stuff like this did not happen in that version. If the new version Ubuntu actually is the problem I will find out next wednesday after rehearsal.
Kind regards,
Bas Douma aka Wannabeelinux.
I reverted to Ubuntu 11.04 and had to install lame seperately to solve this is. Maybe there was something wrong in the install proces. I reverted on 3 laptop en 2 got out fine while 1 did not get lame installed. Is there anyway of this at the end of an install? Because my hardware is ancient I believe it is a bad idea to upgrade to Ubuntu 11.10, because it also slowed down the performance on my laptop.
