Bug Description
resolving complex dependencies such as when updating from one release to the next can take up oodles of RAM. I've seen aptitude go up to 2GB of RAM on a 2GB RAM and 2GB swap machine but it seems there really is no boundary. I hope something can be done to prevent such runaway situations.
