aptd crashed with SIGSEGV in debListParser::LoadReleaseInfo()

I have been using 11.10 for the last few days and today I had updated a lot of packages (250MB's of them). After my laptop restarted I run aptitude from the command line and I had a pop up saying aptd crashed. I uploaded all the info apport tool collected.
