Bug Description
Just did a large upgrade, had to restart afterward.
Aptd is crashing, but the GUI for the Update Manager is still up, it says "You system is up-to-date", has a bolded "Distribution updates" and unbolded "non-linear audio/video editor using GStreamer", both unticked; First can be ticked, second one can't. Install updates is greyed out.
Clicking 'Check' starts up "Updating cache" window, but does not remove these items.
