Bug Description

I'm using gnome shell;
In the previous session, I ran the update-manager and 'did' a upgrade; then reboot;
In this session the first thing I try was to run synaptic to resolve some not upgraded packages;
Synaptic interface do not appear;
My Startup Application Preferences contains: Evolution Alarm Notify, Kopete and NVIDIA X Server Settings

  • syslog Edit (231.0 KiB, application/octet-stream; name=syslog)
  • syslog.1 Edit (258.9 KiB, application/octet-stream; name="syslog.1")
  • syslog.2.gz Edit (95.0 KiB, application/x-gzip; name="syslog.2.gz")
  • term.log Edit (1.2 MiB, text/x-log; charset=UTF-8; name="term.log")

I'm sorry I don't know which syslog can have the information you need.

Thanks. The issue is already resolved. Expect to get a fixed aptdaemon
soon.
