Bug Description
Steps to reproduce:
1) set the LANGUAGE environment variable to a language other then English (e.g. fr)
2) start sudo apt-get install somepackage
3) when apt-get is asking for a question (Y/n) both the question and the options are translated, e.g "Y/n" options translated in french as "O/n"
4) press the translated shortcut character for Yes (O in french)
Expected result: installation proceeds
What happens: Installation is canceled, as the prompt accepts only Y as an affirmative answer, any other character cancels the installation.
