Bug Description

Binary package hint: apt

I did the upgrade from Hardy to Ibex today. Configuring KDE 4.1.2 I decided to use the German language package. When I open an xterm and try to install a package with apt-get I am asked "Möchten Sie fortfahren [J/n]?" (in English "Would you like to continue?"). When I then type "J" apt-get aborts. When I restart apt-get and answer the same question with "y" everything works fine. The bug is reproduceable. The bug under https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apt/+bug/291568 seems to be related, except that it is working there with "j" instead of "y" as in my case.

Description: Ubuntu 8.10
Release: 8.10
apt 0.7.14ubuntu6
