When bootstrapping new architectures is is necessary to be able to build with reduced dependincies in order to untanlge cyclic build-dependencies. This patch provides an example test case for that functionality.
The syntax for this feature is not yet fully specified upstream so this should be considered a worked example and this bug for tracking the feature in Ubuntu, and for people to find the patch and apply it if they need to use this feature.
The initial patch supports the '<stage1>' syntax using angle brackets. |
