missing dependency on curl

Debian bug about this:

This Debian bug concerns Version: 2.0.4 of apt-file.
Hoary contains: version 2.0.3.

Do this bug have anything to do with the fact the few times I did update on apt-file I get 404 errors on DNS server ?
