Bug Description

Binary package hint: am-utils

1. Ubuntu Release: Ubuntu 8.10 (server install)

2. am-utils version: 6.1.5-12ubuntu1

3. What I expected to happen: Install am-utils and amd will be started when I reboot the system.

4. What happened: Installing am-utils starts amd, but it doesn't put symlinks in /etc/rc*.d, so when I rebooted the server amd was not running.

There is probably a reason for this that I don't understand, but it seems to me that if a user installs am-utils, it should run at start up. Or at the very least, dpkg-reconfigure should ask about it. As is, I need to manually run "update-rc.d am-utils defaults"
