  * New upstream release to address issues that have arisen since the version
    of alsa-lib and the kernel drivers are out of sync, (LP: #221673), should
    also resolve issues in LP #191027.

    samples of played back audio. This patch is also in Debian.
  * Refresh debian-specific patches for 1.0.16.
  * Bump shlibs, as new symbols have been added.
