Bug Description
This is very strange. Since Maverick Merkaat my internal mic stopped working. Now, thanks to a thread in ubuntuforum (http://
The problem is that adjusting the volume of the internal mic with the sound applet locks the two channel again at the same level, and the mic stops working.
I tried in Natty the ppa-drivers and there was no difference.
The external mic works in any case.

Hi Romano,
It looks like your bug is fixed upstream already (there is a quirk for your machine). Have you tried the DKMS packages for Oneiric lately? See http:// wiki.ubuntu. com/Audio/ UpgradingAlsa/ DKMS
