Richard, try installing the 'linux-backports-modules-alsa-karmic-generic' package and rebooting. This may, or may not solve your problem. After rebooting, double-check your mixer settings as some may become muted in the process.

Thank you for the try but even after installing the package
linux-backports-modules-alsa-

and rebooting, it doesn't work.

Do you think there is something else to install or is there a way to
completely uninstall alsa stuff then re-install ?

From your BootDmesg.txt:

[ 18.460034] AC'97 1 does not respond - RESET
[ 18.460239] AC'97 1 access is not valid [0xffffffff], removing mixer.
[ 18.460245] Unable to initialize codec #1

Please try disabling PA autospawn (as documented at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/PulseAudio/Log), doing sudo alsa force-reload, then reenabling PA autospawn.

Also, note that on some AC'97 systems, you need an inv_eapd quirk. Please verify by muting the following mixer controls (using alsamixer in a Terminal):

  Mono: Playback [on]

Ok, if i have understand, what i have to do is:

as non-root user:
echo autospawn = no >> ~/.pulse/client.conf
killall pulseaudio
pulseaudio -vvvv
ctrl+c

amixer -c 0 -- sget "Headphone Jack Sense"
Simple mixer control 'Headphone Jack Sense',0
  Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined
  Playback channels: Mono
  Mono: Playback [off]

amixer -c 0 -- sget "Line Jack Sense"

  Mono: Playback [off]

amixer -c 0 -- sget "External Amplifier"
Simple mixer control 'External Amplifier',0
  Capabilities: pswitch pswitch-joined
  Playback channels: Mono
  Mono: Playback [on]

sudo alsa force-reload

is it the good sequence ?

You do not need to start PA after disabling autospawn, and essentially yes,
you need to check the mixer settings after reloading the sound driver.

OK, that's mean the debugging of sound is only made by disabling autospawn
then re-enabling autospawn
and properly set alsamixer options ?

Sorry for the questions, but i'd like to know what exactly is the permanent
change just for my documentation
of the problem in case of re-occurence.

One again thank you.

It's probably much easier to just make sure both Headphone Jack Sense and Line Jack Sense are *muted*. If that makes playback audible, I'll fix up a patch.
