Alpine 2.21 has a performance regression with respect to 2.20. The "folder list" screen, which used to appear instantaneously, can repeatedly take 5 to 10s to appear if one has a lot (a hundred or so) of IMAP folders, and the option quell-empty-

Given that the patch looks simple, and the benefits are considerable, I'd like to suggest updating the 18.04LTS package. (18.04LTS is affected, 16.04LTS has alpine 2.20 so is not.)
The attachment "alpine.diff" seems to be a patch. If it isn't, please remove the "patch" flag from the attachment, remove the "patch" tag, and if you are a member of the ~ubuntu-reviewers, unsubscribe the team.
