Using 'Browse' to find an app for the 'Command' section (New Item), backslashes are not automatically inserted for spaces

Bug Description
To reproduce, open Alacarte and click 'New Item'. Then browse for a file/application which is stored in a directory which contains spaces. If you add that item, backslashes won't be automatically inserted to allow the command to work with the directories which have spaces. E.g. `/home/user/Ubuntu\ Programs/
Alternatively, the program could put speech marks ("") round the file path, this is what Startup Applications (gnome-
