Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Hi, Im using ubuntu 10.10 and using the standard firefox that comes with this.

when i am watching a video (tested with youtube) in fullscreen mode i may want to reduce the volume of the video quickly using the hot-key combination [fn & down arrow], but doing this minimizes the fullscreen view back to the standard view again. Actually also using the screen dimming hot-keys also results in the same behaviour.

*note this behaviour does not happen using firefox in windows, that is the youtube video stays fullscreen when using the volume hotkeys.

this has been the same behaviour since i started using ubuntu from 8.04, so it is not a recent problem only.

I have found that using the Gnash SWF player this bug does not happen, so the problem actually only occurs when using the Adobe SWF player in firefox.
