Bug Description

Binary package hint: acroread

Hi,

with evince I can normally print out my pdf docs to my printer (HP Photosmart Premium C410), but with acroread it prints wrong colors.
I use Ubuntu 10.10 on my ASUS G73J Laptop.

I tried to play with the acroread printing properties but without any success regarding correct printing. Anyone who knows about this or simply can confirm it? On screen everything looks fine...

Regards
Peter

edit: Double sided printing works fine with acroread, but with evince I cannot change settings to double sided, even though it is activated in cups and HPLIP... ok... that part of the problem is solved by:
sudo apt-get install hpijs
(from https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/hplip/+bug/428588/comments/31)

Hi Peter,

Could you send me the pdf(mail to <email address hidden>) in question so that I can isloate the issue at my end.
Does the windows reader print the same file correctly.
Also let me know the ppd file that you have used to configure your printer.

Apologies for the earlier comments.

Regards,
 Rishi

Hi Rishi,

I will send you the info today or tomorrow, thank you for your answer!
I am very busy at work and hope to find time to send you

- the document (but you can choose whatever you want)
- the rescanned part of the document, so that you can see the false color scheme
- the rescanned version of evince where everything seems fine....

Sorry for late answer!
Regards
Peter

Sorry for the quick follow-up comment: it is not only printing. Also on display the colors look totally different than expected.
Example Screenshot: http://imgur.com/UUE6ZjN (left side acroread, right side evince). Evinco representation is expected.
