Bug Description
Ubuntu 8.10, kernel 2.6.27-11
When I suspend my computer (Intel Core 2 Duo e8400 @ 3.6 GHz) to memory and wake it up, the cpu fan, which is set to Silent mode (low RPM) in BIOS, is rotating at maximum, which is quite loud. I think it is supposed to return to normal state. It's not because some crashed application would take too much processor power, its usage is circa at 0-5 %. The folders /proc/acpi/
Note: Bug # 37132 seemed similar, but I've got another piece of hardware etc.
