Comment 26 for bug 307645

I have been using Mint since Gloria without incident. I recently installed Isadora on an Acer Aspire One Netbook and an HP Pavillion a404x and have intermittent problems with it locking up and going to a blank screen. I have caught it in the act a couple times, first the screen will flicker then go blank, mouse will remain active for a short time then everything freezes and only a cold boot will correct the problem. I had no problems with the previous versions Gloria or Helena with these machines. I have turned off suspend/hibernate in the power settings with no relief. I have not applied the ACPI yet that someone mentioned. That will be my next step. Let me know if you need more information. Other than this problem I love the new version. Thanks. Rick
