Bug Description
It would be nice if the brother scanner driver brscan is available through the Ubuntu repositories. The scanner driver is available from:
http://
Please note that certain scanners won't populate unless you "Change Country (Language)". For example, the ADS-2100e will populate if you choose Deutschland(
The license for the driver allows distribution and modification to package with Ubuntu:
https:/
When packaging one may need to create a UDEV rule. For example, when using the ADS-2100e scanner with Xenial 64-bit, one must install Brother linux (deb) driver brscan4-
http://
Then, create file /etc/udev/
ATTRS{idVendor}
"39" because it needs to run BEFORE the /lib/udev/
