Bug Description
I think that this package could add a key-feature to several desktop PCs.
Description from the homepage (http://
"This Linux tool monitors and restricts the usage time of a childrens time spent on the computer. The limits can be specified per day of week, by lower and upper hour, and maximal daily usage time. It requires Linux with the KDE3 Desktop."
KDE-Apps.org-site: http://
Even if this is a KDE3-program it will be helpfull for some problems on family PCs.
I would suggest to add it to the KDE-EDU default compilation as well as maybe to the kubuntu-desktop compilation, as this is a very small program that has a good solution for a problem on PCs where children should be able to work on.
I agree completely. I've been looking around for a similar app and found none (which is kind of surprising because there already exists a horde of such apps for families in Windows and I don't see any reason why families using Linux shouldn't have similar tools). I've written a simple shellscript-system to mimic the behaviour of this app but it's very crude. I bet there are others too who would love to see this app get its way into the distro.
