Bug Description
wxCam is a webcam application. It major features are video recording (in an avi uncompressed and Xvid format), snapshot taking, effect applying and motion detection based recording.

Notes: We have 'motion' for motion triggered recording but it is not simple for 'humans' to use / set-up.

This is a great alternative to cheese which is broken on some lucid systems. Please package so that bugs such as sound synchronisation have a better chance of getting fixed. Users are unlikely to join a w mailing list to resolve issues with wxcam. For how to install wxcam in lucid please refer to
