Bug Description

On the live CD array-5, the default and root user don't have an empty password,
so I can't use them on console nor use admin tools (I don't know what I have to
enter on su or sudo)

The fact that the admin tools were prompting for a password was a bug, which has
since been fixed, so this only affects the console.

The default username/password is currently ubuntu/ubuntu, but I'm still thinking
about the best way to handle this.

This feature will be available in the next daily live CD build:

casper (0.44) hoary; urgency=low

  * Configure init to spawn shells on virtual consoles, rather than login
    prompts (Ubuntu #6666)
  * Skip X configuration if a serial console is in use
  * Set the live user's password to be blank, rather than "ubuntu". This
is, paradoxically, more secure if the user decides to install
openssh-server, since empty passwords are disallowed by default
