When in multiselect mode in the Locations view, tapping the checkbox doesn't toggle the selection

Bug Description
In the Locations view, when the user long presses one of the additional locations in the list multiselection mode is enabled. The user can toggle whether an item is selected by tapping the list item, but tapping the actual checkbox does not toggle selection.
To reproduce:
1. Swipe up from the bottom edge.
2. Using the + icon add 1 or more additional locations.
3. Long press on one of the added locations.
4. Tap any of the list items to verify it toggles the selection of that item.
5. Tap the checkbox for any item to verify if it toggles the selection of that item.
Expected results: Step #5 toggles the selection of the item.
Actual results: Step #5 does not toggle the selection.
