The new lockscreen design features an X at the bottom of the screen, http://i.imgur.com/JORXscB.png
What does the X mean?
It appears that if you click on it it goes back to the welcome screen.
I find the X triggering an action that is not hinted, someone could guess the X is to clear the passcode (at this point it would better be placed next to the passcode entry).
If we want to quit the lockscreen, we might want to put a back button where we usually have in our designs: next to the top left of the header (otherwise we should making it clearer with a button with "Close" label).
Either way, I find the placement unfortunate next to the emergency call button too.
(I also heard, that in case of multiple Sim pin and passcode, this X button acts instead as skip...) |

Either way, I find the placement unfortunate next to the emergency call button too. On SIM PIN, there's at least a symmetrical ✓ on the right.
In the case of SIM PIN, this X also results in "Skip" and not "Cancel", so it's even more confusing. |
