Glib does not have the Kaingang locale definition.

we will try to define it and send it upstream.

When we have it, we could enable the CV lang-packs.

Note here: after setting up locale, https://edge.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-kgp is the team we need to appoint for this language.

Hi zedomel,

I will assist you in creating the locale.

We need the following information:

 - define missing character substitution
 - define full and abreviated day name, full and abreviated month names
 - define date and time representation
 - define paper and telephone standards
 - define measurement system
 - define currency

Can you list the letter orders in the alphabet . Like A B C D E ....

Character substitution is useful for fonts that don't have the specific characters for you langauge and for example you can say that É can be substituted by E

Paper standard : for example if the default paper format is A4 or Letter ... or you have other default size

Regarding the character subsitution... i will have to repeate myself :D

Character substitution is useful for fonts that don't have the specific characters for you language.
For example you can say that É can be substituted by E . As E is better than a blank box or question mark.

I don't know how is 'yes' and 'no' in Kaingang, I asked to responsible for "Aboriginal Web" project, and I am waiting his answer.

But I believe that is good for tests.

the file looks good.

Still need to clarify YES and NO translations.

If the words / filenames are sorted ok with pt_BR we will just copy it for collation.

Hi Adi Roiban

I get today with Wilmar, the translate for yes and no.

YES: HÁV

NO: TŨNĨ

Remembering that in Kaingang does not has abbreviations, so it is not possible thing like [Y/n], it must show the entire answer like: [HÁV/tũnĩ].

Thanks for all your help.

Regardless,

José
